Misha B. Ahrens, PhD

Janelia Research Campus, HHMI

Misha Ahrens is Senior Group Leader at Janelia Research Campus, HHMI. His groups is interested in computation across the entire nervous system and its role in flexible behavior, learning, and body-brain communication. Before joining Janelia, he was a postdoc at Harvard and did his PhD at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at UCL. His group also develops imaging, connectomic, and computational technology to enable question-driven research at the whole-brain and whole-body scale.
